Melissa Bright, PhD, has dedicated her career to bridging the gap between research and practice by fostering collaboration among practitioners, community stakeholders, and scientists. As the Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Violence Prevention Research, she has led studies that inform the prevention of sexual abuse and violence against women in multiple domains, including topics such as safeguarding in sports, youth-involved sexual violence, school-based prevention education, and more. In this webinar, Dr. Bright discusses her findings in these areas and the implications for professionals seeking to prevent and reduce the harm of violence.
Hosted by the Safer Society Foundation. Wednesday, February 25th, 2025 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST. Register here.
