About the Prevention Assessment
The Prevention Assessment is a series of free checklists to help leaders and decision-makers in Youth-Serving Organizations (YSOs) assess and strengthen their child sexual abuse prevention efforts. They are a guide to identifying what prevention practices your organization already has in place and where there may be gaps. You may download and print these free checklists at any time.
The Prevention Assessment is based on the eight Elements of Prevention:
Each element’s checklist can be completed independently; however, a few checklist items may be found in more than one element due to overlapping themes in content across all 8 Elements of Prevention.
