Grade-Appropriate Learning Standards and Lesson Objectives
This document provides a chart with learning standards for safety for children from K-12. It outlines what is appropriate for each age group (K-3, 4-6, etc.) to learn about regarding bodily safety, consent, protecting yourself, relationships, and other safety topics. It can be used by educators to determine what conversations and lessons are appropriate for children of different age groups. This can help educators and YSO leadership have developmentally appropriate conversations with children.
