Summary
This training by Plymouth County Children’s Advocacy Center reviews the Plymouth County response to child abuse generally, then delves into a more in depth look at the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC). CSEC indicators, statistics, case examples, tips for how to respond to a suspicion of CSEC as well as the Plymouth County responses to CSEC will be discussed. The role of the multidisciplinary team and their response to CSEC will be discussed, including the role of law enforcement, child protective services, the district attorney’s office, medical, schools, and many additional community providers.
