As technology continues to advance, caring adults need to keep up to date on the risks that technology poses to our children. There are risks to children in all types of digital environments, such as the internet, smartphones, apps, and gaming platforms. Participants in this training will have opportunities to collaborate and strategize ways to keep children and youth safe in digital environments. Participants will also have the opportunity to share effective strategies for dealing with children exhibiting concerning digital behaviors. Finally, all participants will learn about digital risks and ways to respond to keep children safe in digital environments. This training is for professionals who work with children, parents, are givers, grandparents, and foster parents. This training is part of the Family Support Fridays webinar series hosted by the Children’s Trust.
